Nicky has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Tasmania and has professionally qualified as a Certified Practising Accountant. Nicky has various diplomas including Business Management, Business (Human Resources), Business (Loss Adjusting) and Business (Frontline Management). Nicky is also a Justice of the Peace.

Nicky has worked in accounting and finance roles in Chartered Accounting practices and a range of private and public sector enterprises in various industries, including, local government, recruitment, IT, insurance, superannuation and the Tasmanian Government. Nicky has over 17 years experience in accounting, finance and business.
