Gymkhana Las Vegas: Your Ultimate Guide to Michelin-Star Indian Dining on the Strip

The renowned two-Michelin-star Indian restaurant from London, Gymkhana, recently opened its first location in the United States at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The restaurant, which is well-known for its distinctive blend of traditional Indian flavors and contemporary design, is making its first foray outside of the UK. With an amazing culinary experience that perfectly complements the city’s renowned hospitality, the eagerly awaited opening is expected to elevate the Las Vegas dining scene.

A Prestigious Arrival

This new addition to ARIA Resort & Casino enriches the Las Vegas Strip, offering a first-class Indian dining experience. Created by the co-founders of JKS Restaurants, Jyotin, Karam, and Sunaina Sethi, Gymkhana Las Vegas promises to replicate the restaurant’s success in London, where it has captivated food enthusiasts and celebrities alike.

Restaurant Design

Gymkhana’s interior design reflects the grandeur of India, with a mix of traditional and modern elements. The restaurant features deep green, polished timbers, and brass accents, inspired by the residential mansions of Kolkata. The layout includes rich Kashmiri chili red ceilings, paisley carpets, and intricately detailed décor that evokes the vibrant, sunlit beauty of Northern India.

Guests are welcomed through signature green doors, stepping into a warm and sophisticated atmosphere. The main dining room exudes elegance with five-finger parquet wood flooring and campaign-style furniture. Luxurious leather and velvet banquette seating enhance the intimate and inviting vibe.

A focal point of the design is The Vault, a secluded area with 58 seats that delivers a private dining experience, resembling the exclusivity of Indian member’s clubs. With dark timber paneling, deep red leather banquettes, and brass accents, the space creates a rich, moody atmosphere perfect for those seeking an intimate dining experience.

An Elevated Culinary Experience

At the helm of Gymkhana’s culinary vision is Executive Chef Srikant Kumar, who leads the team to offer guests a memorable dining journey through the flavors of North India, with influences from the South and West. The menu is rooted in tradition and enriched with complex, bold spices sourced from India.

Guests can indulge in a wide range of signature dishes such as Tandoori Masala Lamb Chops, Morel Mushrooms with Truffle Pilaf, and Lasooni Wild Tiger Prawns. The Las Vegas location introduces exciting new dishes not found in the London restaurant, such as Wagyu Keema Naan and Beef Shortrib Pepper Fry, combining traditional Indian cooking techniques with modern interpretations.

Signature Desserts and Beverage Pairings

No meal at Gymkhana is complete without indulging in decadent desserts. A standout option is the Mango Rasmalai, a sweet milk dumpling dessert served with mango, cardamom milk, and rose petals. The Cardamom & Basmati Rice Kheer, an aromatic rice pudding with figs and pistachios, is another delightful treat to end the meal.

To complement the bold flavors, Gymkhana offers a world-class beverage program, featuring a variety of signature cocktails inspired by India’s historic drinking traditions. The Bagheera cocktail, a spicy mezcal margarita, is a favorite among patrons. For those seeking a more communal experience, the Punch Trolley Service delivers large, shareable cocktails to the table.

Additionally, the restaurant features an extensive wine list with over 780 selections, including renowned wines from regions like Burgundy, Bordeaux, Napa Valley, and Germany. The curated selection of wines complements the restaurant’s spicy, flavorful dishes, ensuring a balanced pairing for every taste.

Reservations and Dining Hours

Due to the high demand for this exclusive dining experience, Gymkhana encourages guests to make reservations in advance. The restaurant is open Sunday to Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday to Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Reservations can be made via the SevenRooms platform or through ARIA Concierge at (702) 590-9520. Additional reservation slots for future dates will be available starting December 15, 2025.
